Posted by Martin Cole on January 7, 2013 at 4:15 pmJust curious if anyone knows how much electricity it takes to run a VP540.
Ie, per hour when in full flow?Just trying to break down the leccy bill into what uses what.

Think I remember my versacamm being about 1.5kw or 2kw with heaters on which would be about 20p-26p per hour on my electric rate. Depends on what rate your paying.

depends on the size of the wheel and how much you feed the mouse

Just had a look at your machine spec it uses 1110w whilst in full operation and 34w in sleep mode. On my rate it would cost 14.5p per hour to run and sleep mode about 0.5p per hour.
