    Hi all
I have a strange type of sign to create and would like something along the lines of a dark mahogany backing with a flat or raised lettering in cream or possibly gold

the shop is to be called THE VALET and is to be a traditional barbers shop, has anyone any photos of any signs they have made which I could get some ideas from, all suggestions welcome.
    Thanks Rich
P.S I have no idea whats classed as an Edwardian sign but I feel the use of a font like dare i say Algerian !!
or am I off the mark

    thanks rich

    hi ya
any chance of a look at that font, the reason I said Algerian was I was given this as a starting point from the customer I want to get some ideas and would like to stay away from that if possible I just have a look at some on the net and have some ideas.

This is one Arthur Vanson just posted on Letterville.
    It’s his own simple Roman.
    That would be completely appropriate.
He designed Essendine for LHF, but you could also use Trajan and modify it just a tad.
    Please…don’t DARE use Algerian!
    Love….Jill
