I’m getting married in February and then going to Edinburgh for a short honeymoon, does anyone know any nice little restaurants or things to do in our four days.

    Keep it clean please! 😀

well Billy all the best mate …….Ive never been to it but ive heard that the harvy nicles restaurant is a must . Also one of my favs is frankesteins restaurant on the bridge at the end of chambers street. A theme bar where the monstor comes down from the ceiling while you dine 😀 I would go to the museum as well its well worth the visit (just down and accross a bit from the restauarant …..anyway enjoy

Do a tour of the dungeons or a night time ghost trail…. fab! Really good fun, the tour guides are great, worth doing.
If you want something REALLY special then eat at The Witchery, it’s on the Royal Mile up at the Castle. Most of the pubs on the Royal Mile are good too.

But as suggested, you can also hop on the train and have a day in Glasgow, just an hour on the train. Especially if you want to go shopping, beats Edinburgh hands down.

    have a great time!

It may not sound romantic, but I love cemeteries.
    Edinburgh’s are the absolute best.

    CONGRATULATIONS!! 😀

Long time since I was in edinburgh. so cant recomend anywhere.
Anyway, if its a honeymoon for 4 days/nights all you will need is a nice hotel (old fashioned notion)

    Best wishes

I’ve been told about the ghost tours, we will probably do that one for the craick!
We are eating at the Witchery on Valentines night, supposed to be really really nice in there.

Thanks all for the help, keep it coming.

Really enjoyed Edinburgh, very friendly people up there.
Thanks to all for your best wishes.

the highlight was a comedy club, £1 to get in on the door. 10 comedians on that night, nine of which were excellent. i think it was called The Stand.
If ever anyone is up that way, go and have a look. 😀
