Hello all north of the border, Just been advised that my stepson is performing this year and my wife & I are thinking of coming up next sat, staying overnight then returning home on the sunday. Question, can anyone recomend accomodation in the area at such short notice.

    Cheers

I went to The Fringe in 2003 but I was lucky, I got to stay at my friend’s house in Cowdenbeath and we took the train.
We went back that same night with her mum for the Military Tattoo!
I still get goosebumps when I think about it. (the good kind)
Make sure you check out the historic cemeteries in Edinburgh.

Don’t forget to see Wee Bobby.

I’m going to have to visit Edinburgh just to see him, and make time of course to go and see the ‘sights’ whilst I’m there. I have a few ‘must do things’ on my list and way up there is Greyfriars Bobby.

    Saph 🙂
