    Are you using Spandex foils and cling Dave, I have recently had a similar thing with Cyan when CYMK printing. and also with Cobalt blue when printing a gradient fill, it seems to put to much foil down, but then most of the excess lifts off with the app tape. But thats no good if finishing with abrasion guard….

    Peter, it is spandex cling but the foil came with the edge and could be a Signfoil, but the other Signfoils are ok.

    The ink is kind of running outside of the edge of the letters and if I remember right is only on the right side the back edge if you like.

    I used to get that problem with a certain blue. GCT-627 I think.

    Anyway, the overprint came off when I stuck a small bit of app tape to it and pulled it off again. Not a perfect solution but it did work.
