  • eddie stobart trucks go for a wrapping good image?

during my drive down south at the weekend, i couldnt help but notice that the famous EDDIE STOBART” Trucks have changed their livery!
i heard a while back that eddie’s brother bought out his brother and the firm is now called “STOBART”
You will remember the tidy graphics that was used by eddie on his massive fleet of curtain sider trucks. i believe was contracted by a sign company in carlise? (nice order ) i also remember the graphics on the curtains being inked on and the cabs gerber edge prints. so i was surprised to pass a few and notice the cabs appear to be complete digital wraps? it appears to use the same arrow type logo but now in mint shades of green washes & ghosting images in the background. (this was all i could make out at 70mph while driving by them.. the curtains were plain green, but i suspect they will be done too…
good to see yet another firm moving with the times and giving our trade a turn at the same time.. 😉

on a different note, “MORRISONS” the supermarket people that recently bought out “SAFEWAY” for hundreds of millions of pounds, must have the worst livery on the road. the colours are terrible on their trucks, the font is dated and their cheap attempt at changable clip frame advert boxes on the sides of the trucks just ads further insult. ahhhhh got that of my chest… :lol1: 😉

    anyone else seen good/bad liveries?
    whats your favourite?

Saw a Weetabix curtain sider up close the other day. Hard to describe without pictures but the stripes on the curtain were actually separate pieces of curtain material stitched onto the main one. Never seen one like that before.
