Andrew, I really thing you should start at the begining,

What do you want to do with your plotter?
what background do you have in design, art, computers, life?

A bit more info may allow people to give you the best advice…

Divers you should get from Graftec, did you not get them with the machine?
Cutting software is expensive but you could try downloading a demo version of the various vinyl cutting software and try them before you commit to buy, see which 1 you like or find easier to use.
Flexisign, signlab, vinyl master pro are some of the well known software out there but there are more.
i use VMP and there is a demo version you can download and try, just do a google for vinyl master pro demo 😀

Don’t Google for VMPRO and request a demo, just ask the admin here for my e-mail address and then send me your delivery address so I can post you a VMPRO demo.

Thanks Alan I bought the cutter with loads of vinyl and no software the place went into liquidation and has been turned upside down with every one savaging for things (someone even stole the blade out the cutter) i have since replaced that so I am now trying to gather the bits and pieces that I require to use the cutter with my home PC

Nigel thanks for that i will do that now.
sorry for being a bit of a dim wit but this is a whole new ball game for me
    Thanks Folks

    Hi Phil
The page is telling me that if you use usb (which I am) you must install a usb driver for your fc5 100 from ops 628 folder in the fc5 100 cdrom I didn’t get anything with the cutter regarding software
    please advise

Hi Andrew I dont think that a demo disc will allow you to cut they normaly just show how that soft ware program works.
I think you may have to buy a full verion before you cut vinyl .

    cheers
