Drew do you attend the visual impact show in qld?

hhmm not usually. Its pretty small. I usually fly to Sydney for that one in truth. The qld one is on every 2 years, I usually miss every second one.

Is it on the Gold Coast again this year?

If you have never been to one, its a good opportunity to see who has what, but if you can save your pennies, go to the Sydney one later this year. I go for 2 days. The first day I wizz around meeting old acquaintances and checking out what I’m interested in, then the next day I start asking questions and checking out the demos.

The Gold coast show is dominated by a few local distributors, but never anything ‘big’ because the big markets are in Melbourne and Sydney.

I missed the last Sydney show because I was flying to NZ for holidays at about the same time (not enough money to do both) but I’d like to go this year if I can afford it. Next year I’m planning on an upgrade, so I have an interest in some of the flat beds.

    You thinking of going?

Yeh but if the Sydney one is better we can hold off a for month of two for the Sydney one. Glad you let me know the Sydney one is bigger.

Both my brother and will be going. Be good to meet some industry people since we’ve moved into the digital side of things.

MUUCCHHH BIIGGEERR. Its at Darling Harbour. Try and book a room near the convention centre. You can catch the train from Sydney Airport right into the city. Darling harbour is a brisk walk from The Queen Victoria Building.

Definitely worth the visit mate. Biggest in the Country by a mile

Register before you go, visual impact or image online will have the details in their mags. The queues are horrendous usually, pre registering gets you in much quicker.

Just a tip. If you have a uniform, wear it. You get taken much more seriously if they can see a professional outfit. You’ll meet people from New Zealand and all parts of Oz.

Cheers drew. I know where it is.

I usually stay in the apartments not far from there right on darling harbour. Goldsborough I think its called.

Yep we’ve got a uniform and we usually wear them 🙂 Will see you there.

Our supplier down here will be probably going as well so we might tag along with them.

No worries mate. I don’t usually answer to Drew tho, so if you call out ‘Drew’ to me, I’ll probably ignore you :lol1: :lol1:
