Drew’s Sign It Pty Ltd & Murrays Australia Limited.

Drew’s Sign It Pty Ltd are pleased to advise their appointment as National Sign Suppliers for Australia’s leading group transport specialists, Murrays Australia Limited.

Murrays have a national fleet of more than 2000 vehicles including limousines, buses and luxury coaches of various sizes that are available for hire in all regions of Australia. Murrays has become the transport provider of choice for many of the country’s largest corporations, sporting organizations, academic institutions, schools and inbound tour operators as well as state and federal governments.

Shane Drew, Managing Director of Drew’s Sign It Pty Ltd, based in Brisbane’s Southern Suburbs, worked closely with Murrays Managing Director, Ron Murray and his dedicated team, to help translate the new branding being undertaken throughout the entire organization. Along with Australia’s leading Advertising and Marketing company, Leo Burnett, and Murrays National Fleet Manager, Justin Cannon, all three organizations combined their individual talents to transpose the 2d design on paper, to making it work across the entire fleet.

With Murrays embarking on such a large scale campaign, Shane saw the need to involve various sign shops throughout the various states in a fitting capacity.

Shane’s role includes producing and taking responsibility for the style sheets, all documentation, overseeing fitting nationally, as well as production for each state.

The Halifax Vogel Group and 3M Australia were also involved early in discussions, offering plenty of assistance in providing service, support and products.

Drew’s Sign It Pty Ltd have two Roland 540sc units that have been converted to TechInk full solvent, and calibrated accordingly, specifically for this project. They also have two Ezytapers that are kept well busy in the lamination of all the signs.

    Thanks Friends.

I’ve already been to Melbourne and Sydney to check, measure and fit signs to several buses in their fleet.

Long days (leave here at 4.30am to catch the early 2hr flight… then the midnight flight home), but very satisfying after you see the finished product.

Still tying to get into a routine, hopefully we are nearly there 😉

Thanks so much for your kind comments friends.

As much as I’d like to think I’ve hit easy street, I don’t think the contract will be like that for a while.

Lots of people in the loop in terms of the contract, so I have to keep an eye on who does what etc. Plus, the previous contractor doesn’t have a nice reputation in the industry, so I have a few concerns there too 🙁

That said, its nice to know that I have a regular income for the next 12 to 18 months.

It’s also a great boost for ones confidence. 🙂

    Thanks again 🙂

Thanks Jason. If the fitters don’t work out in Melbourne, I’ll give you a call mate. They are fitting 7 buses for me this week.

Have to see how they go I guess. Nice guys though, and pretty experienced. They have been fitting my Melbourne stuff before I met you, but things may change I guess.
