i can do this very well on the older pro 2 and colourrip but can’t work out how to with the VS and versaworks.
print in reverse on to clear back it up with white then print and cut the white side registration to be very close. over a area about 600×1200

i need to print silver hence trying to sort it out on the vs

    thanks

Probs not the most professional method but….. put a piece of masking tape over the registration marks prior to laminating with the white. Then cut the white after laminating to reveal the marks. Put back in printer and cut as normal.

    Chris
    load clear vinyl
find point on printer to act as reg point & mark vinyl
    Print design
Remove & laminate with white vinyl
Align back to reg point & vinyl mark
    Print & cut design

This is how i would approach it hope it helps

John thanks but you missed the point

Kev yes about what I had come to. Just might have to do it all mechanically. Was going to do the first part with marks then as a double check after refitting manually check the base point and furthest point.
But takes forever with the move keys hence the other question about speed.
