Just did a driving school car last week, all well and good and customer happy as larry, lol as if.
3 days later he phones and says he sacked a driving instructor who has now copied the new design i did for the owner of the driving school so, can i now REMOVE all his 3 day old gfx and REDO his whole fleet differently from the guy he sacked. Nice i think untill he says he doesnt expect to pay anything for the new Gfx as the 1’s im removing are only 3 days old 🙄 and replacing them will only take a couple of hours as he puts it LOL.
He doesnt seem to understand if i remove them and make new 1’s they need paying for AGAIN !!! or as i put it, Yes il replace them, £165 per car + £25 per head board x 6 cars.
Funny how some folk think.

I had a bloke ring me the other day and ask me to remove his signs from his old van and reapply them to his new van.
When I said they’d be ruined, and I’d have to cut some new ones, he told me I was a rip off, then hung up.
What really scares me is that these people vote and can actually change governments… sheesshh!

One of the things I like best about this job is that we DON’T deal with the general public and even the smallest of my customers, the local electrician or plumber, the guy with one van who changes it every three years, is a businessman himself and you can usually have a sensible conversation with him.
Of course, we all get the odd one occasionally, but this job is bliss compared to the grief I used to get in my previous job in the motor trade. I get as much hassle from this type of person now in a year as I used to get in a day, sometimes even an afternoon, in those days. When I started in this game I thought I had died and gone to heaven.
I suppose what I am saying is that we should be thankful for small mercies.
Phill’s a special case of course. There’s something about him that attracts them. 😀

until you have worked on the reception of a garage you would not probably understand ( since you fitted a stop tail bulb the engine is knocking what you going to do about it ) one of the reasons i got out of it.
