Does the proper anti graffiti film resist paint?
Morning all.
I’ve to quote for a large company & they’ve requested that all the signs need to be covered with anti graffiti film. I’ve used some from JAC in the past, but it was a nightmare to apply, wet or dry. Really thin & brittle. Recently, I’ve been using Avery cast clear, but am unsure how this will stand up to an attack from paint etc? Signs will be standard Ashby affair, some post mount, some wall mount.
Does the proper anti graffiti film resist paint, or is it just tough enough to be scrubbed & what’s it like to apply? Finally, where & who can I get some from?
All info greatly appreciated.

There’s a world of difference between clear vinyl an proper anti-graffiti film. Spray paint & marker pen can be successfully removed from the anti-graffiti without damage…or leaving permanent stains. Just try getting black marker off clear!
It’s a nightmare to work with I agree and best applied with a laminator / rollers…or with a lot of patience, a felt squeegee & a trusted workmate to help rub it on as they hold the sheet tight! But it’s a get it right first time affair as removal is not an option 😥
Most vinyl suppliers will stock it..and it ain’t cheap.
