    hi roffs!!

yes i have the same problem, so if you want to run xp with signlab 4.95
you will have to buy an upgrade!! as the software does not recognise the dongle!!

i think cox plastics sell signlab!! 😛

You will have to upgrade or stick with Windows 98.

On the plus side upgrading to version 7 is £450, if you had have gone from 4.95 to ver 6.1 it would have been £550. So Cadlink have made it a little easier to bear…

Even running V5 on XP is not without some “quirks” I always thought V5 was a good improvement on V4.95 – E6 has bits that are much better than V5 and I can’t wait for the V7 box to arrive, my advice is to upgrade and take advantage of the extra features and benefits that a modern programme and OS can offer.

Your choices are not that good then, upgrade and enjoy. If you have any access to V5 – change fonts to graphics and switch off preview and they may well open in 4.95. A note on upgrading from V4.95, if you use Type 1 fonts in your work you will find sizing changes when opening in higher versions.
