    Hi all
Just wondering if anyone uses metamark vinyl 4 series.
Had a rep around today, he did offer me a better price than my usual supplier, cant recall using there vinyl before, used most of the others over the years.
i use mactac at the moment.
    any feedback would be great..

    thanx

    Hi Ade,

I’ve used Metamark vinyls for years. I’ve no complaints. The 4 series is the cheaper vinyl, works fine for flat application. It weeds a treat which is one of the main reasons I use it! I wouldn’t recommend 4 series for fitting over bumps on vans etc but as far as a basic vinyl goes, it’s my first choice.
Ask the rep for a sample to run through your plotter……… give it a go 😀

same as marcella here too, iv used the 4/7 series good vinyl as long as you use it for what its intended for and thats flat surfaces and its fine. 😉

the rep did mention it would be ok for all flat and also slight curves on vehicles…
?? its similar then to the 8300pro range that mactac do.
Think i will give it a go, its gonna be a cheaper price than i have off mactac so thats a good thing, there frosted films are half the price for normal 3-4 year exterior. think there etched is also cheaper that most others. He did mention its made by them so cutting down on the price.
Amari plastics sell mactac so they must take a cut i guess putting the price up slightly.
Ive had set of there swatches for ages so will check there colour range..

    cheers both

We switched to Metamark 4 series a while back. Performance is fine and the company is efficient and helpful. They will provide samples, which is the best way to satisfy yourself that you like the vinyl.

Same here, been using metamark 7 series for over a year now and no complaints. I used mactac 9000 series for many years but find meta 7 weeds so easily. I have started using 4 series and find thats ok too.

Ade, was the rep Adam? if so he’s a good guy, very helpful.

Have been using Metamark 4 for basic stuff for a while, never had any problems with it and the price is good. Also use their clear app tape and some of the specialist vinyls.

Only problem I have had is with the couriers not delivering next day when they are supposed to, but thats down to them rather than Metamark, and Metamark always chase them up and look into it.

Dont think they have ever been out of stock on any colours either which is useful when you need to get a couple of metres of some odd colour for a rush job !

they are going to be using another company soon for deliveries.
Mine did arrive next day so will see how we go.
