No need to abort the mission John – mission control says ignore the error code and go for lunar landing š

an error occurs on the iinterface between the I/F board and the control board
(corrective measure) Perform a proper operation!
that’s what it says John?

a post taken from mimaki user group
my question is what where you doing last to the printer?
quote :We had an Error 30 in our JV3 160 SP and the m/c has been down
for nearly 6 months, finally a tech came and loaded the latest firmware
and the printer is running again apart from the loss of heads and income
but this is another story. It sound like you need to input head ID’s and check all the parameter
setting,
probably a job for a tech, error 30 can mean anything to do with heads & ink
etc.quote :Thanks, I got it straightened out upgraded the firmware to 7.1 and
now it recognizes the SS2 inks and got rid of the error 30. Now I
have a new problem the close cover warning keeps coming on and if I
press on the area right above the switch it will have but
as soon as I stop pressing it says close cover, as if the front was
open. is there a way to wire around the switch? noticed there is a red
and black wire going to the switch. btw locacted in louisville.thanks.

Nothing much Dave.
It was printing fine. Switched it off and moved it five miles (carefully) and switched on again. Error 30. š

From http://www.sawgrassink.com/v.php?pg=203#error30 …
quote :Iām getting an error 30, what does that mean?An error 30 is a general operation error that normally points out something simple that might have been overlooked. This includes trying to do alignments while the print head is too high, or trying to detect the media while a cover is open. Always check your sensors when this error comes up, normally closing a cover or lowering the media lever will remedy this.
