Sorry, i could have been more specific. Some train and bus companies wraps their vehicles instead of painting them, that’s what I’m after.

thx for the link, but do you call it something else when you wrap a whole train or bus with one color?

Oracal have released the new 870 vehicle colour change wrap material here in OZ
Can’t post pictures here but a pdf description is here http://www.orafol.com/eng/pdf/870.pdf

Frederik,
This link has been posted before, but it is worth re-posting, this is really a big vehicle-wrap and the story gives you a nice overview of everything involved in a big wrapping project: http://www.oracal.com/pdf/WestCoast_Article.pdfJJ

We do a lot of graphics for trains. From no smoking labels to a complete 18 car full wrap. Many of the operating companies are moving from paint to vinyl, so a lot of the trains you see are vinyl covered. There are also a number of trains with digital print as part of a sponsership deal they have.
However you have to use warrented material, be an approved supplier, and use approved applicators. The same is true for planes, buses less so depending on the operating company.
There are thousands of trainspotter sites with images of trains. We did a train with a Robin Hood livery which can be seen at http://www.thejetsetter.co.uk/ontherails2.html.

Ty tj_pierson, didnt think of those trainspotter pages.
How many were you working on that train?

tj_pierson, do you have a homepage i can look at your work or something? And would it be possible to set up a meeting for us to come and see you work?
