Does anyone have any comments on the Rockhopper 2 printer?
Hi All,
Does anyone have any comments on the Rockhopper 2 printer. Is it any good or is it worth staying away from a second hand one?

Hi Mate how you doing i use a rockhopper 2 but mine is branded from spandex and they call it a jetster ive had a few problems recently the mains board has gone £606.00 + Vat + Fitting and call out charge over £1000.00 the good thing about this machine apart from the board odviously are cheap new heads are only £60 Hope this helps print quality is good aswell!!!!

Mark,we’ve a branded spandex one as well.
Had it 14 months now only probs was the hoses to the head burst.They’ve been upgraded under warranty

18 Months old mate! When spandex sold me the machine they sold me the light version of the software but failed to inform me. During large prints it just stops and error message says failed to send data to port they gave me upgrade but still did it so they inform me that it can only be the board??? Have you had any other problems??

Same light software as well Matt.
Are you printing straight to the jetster?
We’re printing to a printer folder first which in turn sends it to the jetster
Had no problems doing it that way.
Hope you haven’t shelled out a grand unnecessarily!!

How did you set up the print folder yes im printing straight to it tried print queues but didnt make a difference havent had it installed yet?
