does anyone else have cropping images in Signlab 7.1?
Does anyone else have this problem.
Sometimes when i try to crop an image, i draw the box round the part of the image i want to keep. When i release the mouse the box just disappears, -it should stay to show the part i’ve selected. This is the same with all the other selection tools. The only way i’ve found to overcome this problem, (sometimes), is to close Signlab and then re-start it.Has anyone else encountered this problem, and have you found a cure.

Nick, my older version did this, but a work around is toclick the circle selection box first then the square selection tool, worked for me,

It sounds like the image isn’t actually selected when you select the crop tool.

Peter, the image has to be selected (Double click)to enable the crop tool,
Are you thinking about the clipping tool?
this will not work either unless both the image and clipping path are selected,Peter

Thanks Peter. I used to use the trick of selecting the circle tool, drawing a circle and then switching to the square one, but even this doesn’t work now. I tried it the normal way a little while ago, and it was fine. I guess it’s
just one of those little Signlab quirks that we all love. 🙄 -
