does anyone do plastic recycling?
Hi all
I received a flier through the post yesterday from these people http://www.polycreclaimers.com/index.htmI was just wondering if any of you recycle your offcuts of plastic etc.
The problem I have is that space is at a premium in the workshop so storing it is a problem.
Would be interested to hear your views though.

I actually called them. They don`t take foamex, just acrylic and polycarb.They pay you £100 per ton and their average collection is about 300kg.
Fine if you have the space and the turnover in the materials.
At this stage though it is a none starter for me.

im about to start looking into having our waste recycled. mainly paper and cardboard, but also offcuts of dibond and alluminium.
we have to drive to our local tip twice a week with a full to the roof merc sprinter high top. full of paper and lightweight stuff like that. so it would be good to have it picked up from us… just now we pay per load dumped, the mans travel/labour time and desel twice a week. it also looks good on the company for doing your bit for the environment… 😀 -
….. and is actually a good thing to do…..
