does a graphtec come ready to go out of the box?
im sorry if im doing everyones head in lol. But i still cant find information on the graphtec fc7000-75. Would this come with a programme for me to be able to cut straight away…from illustrator on a mac??? im stuck lol 😥

I think the driver that they have is just for PC/Windows.

If you read the brochure for it on Brian’s site it says it has a plug in for illustrator on the Mac.

Yes it does but IMO it sucks!
I did not take the time to figure it out all the way. It has very limited options and takes some finagling to get it to work.
I would just get some cheep cutting software like Flexi Cut or vinyl master pro or something along those lines.

Mimaki plotters come with an Illustrator plug-in called FineCut, for Mac and PC. Works with versions all the way back to 8. Not sure how prices compare to other brands, but we are very pleased with ours, and run it directly from a Mac via USB.

The plug in software for Illustrator is now very good, but then again I am bias.
It also has a good plug in for corel on the PC, and is also supplied with some basic text generating software which is not so good, but will get you through at a push
