    A stupid question but which way do you squeegie? Do you push it or drag it.

    I always drag mine at a 45 degree angle, I always find the other way you risk the chance of bunching the vinyl if laying it down wet

    I actually push most of the time – with just the occasional pull! Don’t tell me after all these years I’ve been doing it wrong!!!

    nice one gray!! my wife sharon is a Midwife and they are having their Midwifery Centre refurbished and after reading this post she is going to tell the sign writer this when he comes to put the new signs up!! 😀

    Question 2 is – what to do with a felt squeegee. These produce less friction – so what methods are favoured use with these 😛

    I put the felt squeegee in the bin, tape a piece of velvet to a nylon squeegee and then I pull the squeegee across the vinyl.

    Right enough of this!, I use the felt squeegee in exactly the same way as the plastic. Only NOT on graphics with tape on, kind of defeats the purpose of the felt squeegee
