8 out of 10 ……. not good enough for a scots lassie!

But I once won a competition at school for singing “I’ll aye ca’ in by yon town” ๐Ÿ˜ณ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜ณ the competition was poor………. :lol1:

no haggis and whiskey for me tonight….. I’m the only one in here that would eat haggis and I couldn’t stomach whiskey! ๐Ÿ™

Sorry for my ignorance, but is it the Scots or the Irish that spell Whisky with an E?

That site has it with no E but Marcella has an E? ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Haggis, do yoos really eat that stuff? ๐Ÿ˜ฎ ๐Ÿ˜ฎ (!)

In the U.S. it is spelt Whiskey so that must be the correct way. ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜€

Haggis, luvvly jubbly. sheep’s lungs, heart and liver (and the bits that connect them) stick in a bit of barley nothing better, except maybe, a battered and deep fried Mars bar! the Scots really are food connoisseurs.

Generally speaking that is, present company excepted

no your okay peter………..just that it takes so long to catch the wee blighters……….then get them prepared for the table….then when they are all eaten up with the ‘neeps’ and ‘tatties’ i couldnt face a deep fried mars bar ๐Ÿ˜ฎ ๐Ÿ˜‰

7 out of 10 for me, not too bad.
I bought a paperback of Burns’ work in Edinburra at the Fringe.
It’s actually quite risquรฉ once you figger out the lingo.
