I have a job to restyle a chinese restaraunt/takeway, they have an exisiting lightbox, which has a white panel, with basic lettering along it. Its very basic. I have come up with a new design, but I need a yellow background, they dont want to go tooo mad on price as ever, now could i cover the white panel, which is fairly new, in yellow translucent vinyl maybe? or do i have to replace the panels with yellow perspex? Hope you can help! cheers matt

Should be okay to remove the lettering and then cover in
    trans yellow 😀

Watch out for shadows on the acrylic caused by fading. If you see any discolouration, test a bit first by applying some yellow and then putting a light behind it. I did the same thing recently and it showed up. I got round it by using the back of the panel instead.

Just noticed, you say the panel is fairly new, so you shouldn’t have this problem. Please ignore all of the above drivel.

*martin id just use ordinary yellow …you might be surprised it might and i say the word might be surprised by the affect and it mabe will hide some of the imperfections that translucent wont hide
