    Hi All,
I’ve had a request from a regular customer to come up with a solution to an odd situation (This may potentially be a widespread issue.) & not sure what to suggest so hoping somebody here may have a brainwave that may work.

The attached image shows the dispenser in question (they have quite a few of these). The issue is that there has apparently been a case in a nursing home somewhere, where a resident with dementia removed a glove from a similar box, tried to eat it & sadly choked on it!

So my customer is looking for a simple solution to help reduce the chances of this happening.
They are suggesting, if possible, some sort of hinged clear acrylic panel which would just cover the 3 glove openings, either individually or together & the same for the bag opening below.

It needs to be simple enough & strong enough for workers to access them without the need to lock them, but be enough to cover the holes so the gloves/aprons are not quite so easy for residents to access.

The unit itself is made of quite thin plastic which I don’t think would take screws, so think it would have to be some sort of tape fixing which I’m not sure would be durable.

Any ideas on this would be very welcome.

Not sure if this helps, we have disguised doors (and part of wall) to look like a bookcase, so the dementia patients don’t keep trying to go through into staff areas.

Perhaps something like this would also help?

Thanks Joe, I actually have a local plastic fab crowd to me here. Never thought to ask them :blushing: Might give them a shout & see if they have any ideas.

Clever idea Colin, maybe a little wrap disguise of some sort might do the trick. Some sort of 3 eyed monster maybe??? 😆
