Digital Wallpaper Material, advice please?
Posted by Luke Culpin on December 13, 2018 at 11:25 pmJust seen this company advertising online… http://www.arenaroom.com
What a fantastic idea! After watching there install videos, I’m intrigued to know what the material is and what the likely method of print is. For those who don’t have time to watch, they simply dip the print in water which sets off the pre paste on the back. Looks so easy!

There’s a lot of companies selling pre pasted printable paper but I would highly recommend contacting papergraphics and trying their digimura paper

Hexis do a pre-pasted, I’ve yet to install it because I don’t want the mess!!
Currently have large wall graphics in the office using Metamark and Avery self adhesive, not sure I’d use anything pre-pasted #messy!

Ahlstrom produce a prepared wallpaper called Easy Life-Spray & Up.
HP recommend it and have profiled it for the Latex.
You don’t dip the panels, just spray water from a normal spray bottle.
It’s a fibrous material, prints beautifully and dead easy to install.
We did a whole stand in the stuff at Fespa this year.
Will post up some pics when I’m in the office -

We love this stuff however I was unable to source it in the UK in 2018 and had to get some shipped in from Netherlands at considerable cost. Do you have a UK supplier for it?

Metamark have a pre pasted wallpaper which is pretty reasonable in cost as do Paper Graphics who have several versions although I have not tried theirs.

Thanks Kevin, I tried the metamark version.
Hated it! Really thick/heavy and hard to paste around Corners without cracking.
Had similar issues with other brands also.

I’ve just done another wall with papergraphics digimura. Think it was tactile 1.1 but I will check! Such a nice product to work with although you do have to paste the wall first

Hi David
My supplier is based in Germany but i have no problem getting materials
in fact, i often pick it up when i venture into Germany during the year.
Would you be looking to use it a lot or just a one off ?Let me know

Hi Iain,
Last time I have to order 10 rolls from the Netherlands to make it cost effective. I still have a few left but was hoping for a local supplier so I could order them a roll at a time.
Previously we were able to get them next day from Pyramid and even collect same day in emergency. Which was handy, we can go months without using it and then get an entire office to cover out of the blue.
