    Hi Folks,

Just had a couple of weeks from hell… the floods, sacking staff, a crazy workload and a visitors centre at the Yorkshire show.. It was too much for us to cope with.
A customer needed a crappy old trailer doing before the 18th of the month and there was no way we could do it, I contacted a good friend from these boards Big John at Rainbow Graphics and asked if he could bale me out!!

Below is the excelent job he and Julie did for us. We did the designs in house but all printed, laminated and fitted by Rainbow graphics.. Thanks folks!!!

This is one of the reasons I enjoy being a part of this group, such a helpfull bunch.

    Cheers

    Ian

    Hi Chris,

It was all done in photo shop and supplied to john as 4 seperate pdf files. one for each side and 2 for front and back. I believe John uses flexi sign for his printing. As far as the customer is concerned we have done it, which if we had time we would have done.

    Cheers

Between you, you made a good job of it, and got it out to the customer on time..

Sorry to hear abut all the other bad luck you have been having though.
I Hope things now get better.

    Chris,
We did the design at 50% and 400dpi. The file size was a whopping 120MB. john imported them into his flexisign, blew them up to 100% and set the machine to tile.

This was the second design as the large picture of the dogs was originally going to fill the whole side but after starting the print it was very pixilated so we had to reduce it down to make it look better.

    cheers

    Nice work fella’s.

Teamwork is a lot better than no work 🙂

I’ve my first wrap (although completely flat) of a trailer come in and was wondering if I’m about right. I am about to quote £1550 + VAT for 3 sides of a 12ft long x8ft high x6ft wide box trailer.

    Cheers
