Not sure if this is in the right forum section (mods do your stuff ;))

but I’m searching for a decent 7 year digital white base vinyl for everyday work.

We have a Mutoh 1204 and do 99% of our work for vehicle graphics, so everything gets laminated too.

I have used Spandex Image Perfect in the past as well as their non digital 5700 series, also recently tried APA 90Y which is very good.

I have thought of using the Aslan C118 as they told me it could be printed onto – but just wondered if anyone has any recommendations ??

    Price conscious too btw 🙂

    ta, Phil

I don’t think you can get a 7 year digital mate because the vinyl will out live the print… that’s the theory from what i know.

I use Oracal Digital – (Robert Horne), 3M digital- (WmSmith) and on occasion Metamark MD5 (Scotmark=Metamark in scotland)

thanks Robert – I think the suppliers I have used class it as a ‘mid-term’ vinyl or 5-7 year.

I was told by APA that their base digi vinyl is 7 year though.

I would love to use cast for everything but it comes at a price though !
