Hi Kev, I made one of these from a piece of 15mm MDF. I put 4 heavy duty casters on the bottom so I can wheel it around my workshop and then I bought 20 metal table legs from B&Q (about £2 each) and screwed them to it in an upright position.

I also made one for my app tape and laminate rolls. I’m not in the workshop at the moment or I would take a picture and show you. I will try and post one tomorrow

I know you want info where to buy some but I made mine. I’m no fabricator got the steel company to cut everything to size and I just welded it together and gave it a spray of paint.

If I can do it anyone can. You can see my welds aren’t the best but they are solid 🙂

This picture shows a great solution to out-gassing prints.

The area does need to be kept pretty dust free to avoid dust getting dragged up onto the prints and it would be easy to pop a box around it to reduce risk but all in all a very easy system to replicate especially if space it at a premium………..I love it that they have used the fan boxes to rest the grill on and black core ends to help support the fans :lol1: :lol1:

Thank you for the feedback I decided to make my own out of MDF. It seems to work well.
PS. Am getting someone from a local GRP company to quote to produce it if anyone is interested

Shouldn’t the air flow be going from the top to the bottom of the rolls?

Yes I think so as the ink vapour sinks.
The fan is set to suck from the bottom.
It seems to work well as you can smell
the vapours coming out the fan.

    Hi Jason

Air flow is the important thing. Getting plenty of air circulation to move the solvent away from the print.

Yes a fan at the top would be ideal. In fact a fan blowing down through a print and one at the bottom extracting would I’m sure be really effective, but I loved the simplicity of this system and the fact that it is very easy and quick to construct.

I’m pleased that more and more companies are now taking out-gassing seriously and adding it into their process
