I’ve only got me litho presses and me pc600 lads no large format digital stuff though – I was going to get a larger inkjet type thing but I’ve just bankrupted myself having my garden done (now I’m a bloody builders mate running up planks with barrows of blocks and bricks).

    Dog thinking “What a prat!”

    😀
Thanks for posting that link Rob, I’ve been looking for their details for a couple of days but couldn’t remember their name!
Just spoke to them and they seem very helpful….mentioned the group and peter said that some other people had mentioned you when calling.
See if you can get them on board mate, but even if they don’t give discount, you can’t moan at those prices :I need 2 x 600mm x1600mm prints done and they said about 50 quid for the pair – and they can get them to me in 48 hours!
    Cheers

good to hear joe thanks mate…

i do intend sorting out group discount with a few more suppliers & one of them was them… so if all is well and we can agree to some kind of arrangement ill gladly have them on board.

ill keep you all posted in the new members section 😉

Sorry everyone…. i forgot to follow up this post about the service i recived from ‘superwide’…

    BLOODY GREAT !!

the story goes …. my usual supplier of digital banners had had my disc for 5 days and had said that they SHOULD be able to get them to me on wednesday… i called monday to check that it was still ok for wednesday and they said “oohh it looks like it’ll be next monday mate” to which i replied ‘bo**ocks’

i rang superwide on tuesday @ 4pm … explained my problem and that the customer needed the banners by friday, to which they said ‘no problem’

so i posted them a disc on tuesday, they printed the banners on wednesday, i got them on thursday, my customer got them on friday as promised…

as we can hem and eyelet the banners here, they just sent them on the roll, untrimmed for only £15 per sq metre… thats a bloody good price

ROB … GET THEM ONBOARD MATE…. as joe said .. even if we dont get discount, its worth having them as a recomended supplier, and if they know we are all part of the same group, they are bound to look after us!!

good to hear mate and i will be contacting them next week along with a couple of other suppliers…

the prices..is that for the print only or or is the substrate included.
if not can they supply the materials… i.e. banner material etc.

if they do banners are them hemmed and eyed for you if needed.

just asking mate so i have a bit more knowledge of whats going on…

    cheers kev..

the price was for the print onto banner material, (all supplied by them) they can hem & eyelet, but this adds another couple of quid to the [sq m] price, and takes longer and i was in a hurry and i can hem and eyelet cheaper than paying them to do it!!

    Hi all,
They’re very nice people and seem to be very quick and efficient!
I emailed some artwork to them (customer supplied) and they phoned me back to say it might not enlarge very well (going from a tiff 4″ high to 30″ high x 60″ print) and even sent me a crop they printed of the file for me to show customer, which arrived the next day (as promised!).
Unfortunately, the customer dosen’t want it digital now ( vinyl instead – no blend of colours ), but from the little dealing I’ve had with superwide I’d thoroughly recommend them!
    Brilliant service….
    a rare thing nowadays……
    😀
If you need digiprints they’re very competitive and very good!
    cheers
    Joe
