Whilst I’m not one for moaning on publicly I’m at my wits end…….

We ordered some wipers from digiprint supplies for our RE-640 machine, they arrived promptly but I’ve been unable to use them. They dont fit into the wiper holder without jamming them in (too thick) and dont wipe the head properly leading to drop out. As soon as I put back in an original roland one – even an old cleaned up one, the fault goes away.

I contacted digiprint about this and was told that I would be unable to return them as its part of their terms and conditions that parts are non returnable……….. what even if they are not fit for purpose 👿 they then proceeded to tell me that the machine must be at fault, the problem would be my pump and dampers………………….. on a 3 month old machine – really?? Odd how the fault goes away when you bung a proper wiper in isnt it?!?

I’m sure if you are ordering original parts you will be fine but dont expect any level of customer service as its just non existent in my experience.

Can anyone point me in the direction of where to get some original wipers in the UK?

    [end of rant]

Andy hope all is good with you
had a problem with wipers from Digi Print in that it would cause the belt to slip when wiping against the scraper, totally rebuilt the wiper station new belts, slides and holder still had problem purchased original wipers from Roland and all was well. I will say that i returned a head to Digi Print without any real fuss and tagging this to the other thread have never had any delivery problems. I guess its like everything some pattern parts may look the same but the quality just isn’t there.
