I am cladding the front of a double shop in gloss disband tomorrow, I will be putting in screw fixings under window sills and in not so obvious places however It will look nasty with screws everywhere so I am thinking of using some glue to hold the rest of each panel in place. Can anyone suggest a fast drying longterm adhesive that can be dispensed through a caulking gun? Thanks

CT1 is what we use for things like this, it does take 24 hours to set properly but blows everything else out the water. If your fixing the panels with some screws then they’d hold the panel in place till the CT1 has set.

Your biggest problem is that you are using “gloss acm”
It will show every single line , dollop, squirt of glue in 6 weeks time when the sun has warmed up the panel and it has cooled again.
Make sure and use a fully flexible adhesive that is spread out thinly and not just as it comes out of the nozzle .
Product of choice here is tigerseal high PU adhesive.
But for best results use the Matt side

Do you mean use the glue on the Matt side or apply the graphics Matt side? What if you are doing full coverage would a block out vinyl help? Or hoarding ACM with a millled reverse.

The job was creating a gloss black frontage on a hair salon, so had to show gloss side. Although i had a look online at the suggestions, I opted for Sikaflex adhesive which is commonly used to hold caravans together. This was mainly due to the amount of time I had before the installation to source the products recommended.

Does anyone know what caused the effect on the metal, I have had this a lot on flat cut letters in the past.

The marks are caused by thermal expansion , the aluminium and plastic core expands at different rates and the locators/ glue add a third dimension that has a different value.
After a few weeks it begins to show. Especially on a full gloss black shopfront south facing.
This is why the fasciae should be use as trays to allow for expansion and not glued to the face.
Where it is glued / located there is no movement
