    Hi all,
    Iam in need of a diamond…somthing like this, it is to be perspex box, with applied black vinyl.
    can you help?

    Just made some jewellers signs this is one of them
    it has a 3d type diamond logo, may help

    Simon,

    I’m one of the few who use flexisign, however you should be able to vector this sort of thing really easy in corel or illustrator as well as any other sign programs.

    Flexi has a tool which automatically vectors images for you, however there wasn’t much point using it on the image you posted as it was such bad quality.

    All i did was copy your image into flexi (or corel or illustrator) and then using the straight line drawing tool just drew round the image.

    If your new to vectorising stuff the diamonds are a great thing to practice with as its all straight lines,

    I hope that makes sense, give it ago yourself and see how it looks.

    I thought you may have had some fantastic vectorising program,
    I spent a great part of my life vectorising text and logo’s (top of the range 286 computer, back then). The trace function in corel which i use is not much cop (you end up spending hours cleaning it, quicker to trace by hand)
    It seams like all these programs perform pretty much the same.
