    i agree with james, i use flexi and have no problems exporting dxf files

    Hi Boab,

    if you want to use a design programme as opposed to expensive sign software you can download an additional plug in for adobe illustrator it allows you to save dxf files for router cutting without squaring off the edges…….

    DXF is the export format that was originated by Autocad as an exportable platform (drawing exchange format). AutoCad is by far the best program to use and generate these , it is their standard and it a a very potent CAD system , the world standard in CAD.

    Signlab can also export as DXF

    stands for Drawing Exchange Format I believe and as Rodney said was an Autocad original.
