Hi all, can anyone help me a little with this design please…

It is a renault kangoo van, and although we have done a few vans they are a little rubbish design wise and we have been asked for some input to revise the design.

However, due to the shap of the passenger side panels i am struggling…

Any help or advice is appreciated

    cheers
    stephen

Ignore the fact there are two panels on the back Stephen. Spread your main message (the Rosse Systems "Logo") across both panels and it will look much better.

not knocking it, just asking… but is the info on the door their logo or just part of an existing design?

Agree with Phill – the main company name needs to be larger and across the main panels. Did some LWB sprinters, when I first started doing livery, and was a bit scared of going over the recesses – they looked fine.

the name looks like an after thought placed there ………….as mentioned it needs to be up and taken across both panels, not ideal with deep recesses but better than on the door. 😀

I am still too jetlagged to be creative but I will echo what others have said:
Name up, bigger, on the panels as if they were not there.
Services in a straight line beneath the door handles if there is room.

Have done a couple of these across the panels. I used a lozenge of flat colour behind it, seemed to aid legibility.

Hi all, thanks for the replis.

I agree in whats been said, my only concern is will it go over/ into the recesses?

    Dont wish to hijack,

but… if fitting across deep recesses like that would you feed the vinyl in to the recess giving a reduced letter width when viewed flat on, or would you bridge the gap and stretch into the recess once the application tape was off?

Feed it in – it’s not a problem and will look fine.

    Cheers Phil.

Just wondered as I saw a Japanese van the other day, not sure what it was but the recesses could have had window boxes fitted! Just thought it might look a bit odd with so much lettering disappearing into the depth of the panel.
