    HI all,
it’s not often i feel i need help to work out a layout / design, but this one has me stumped, i’ve recently done their van, based upon their new shop facia (which i didn’t do), but trying to make it fit their car is another matter,

i’ve tried vertical and horizontal fills (wide stripes), rectangles with elongated corners, ovals, etc, nothing seems to jump out, this isn’t an expensive job, so i don’t want to get too hung up on it, but i can’t throw crap on the car!

colours are gold, cream, and possibly forest green, the customer is easy, but the main colours are cream and gold,

    would appreciate any help, thanks.
    Hugh

Hugh, that is such a large amount of text on a vehicle that the advertising value is nearly useless.
I would stick to making their name in that panel on the front door of the car, and the telephone numbers on the rear door.
Maybe save the laundry list for the back window.
At any rate, it does not need to be on the car three times.
Whenever a client requests a lot of text, I tell them to save it for their bizcard or website as nobody will be able to read all that when the vehicle is going down the road.

    thanks Jill,
i did have a layout just like that, but the text under the door mouldings didn’t look right. you’re right to dump all the info and keep it simple, i can see him wanting a phone number in there, but i reckon i’ll go back down that route.

something always looks right when it’s done by someone else!

    cheers Jill.
