Design help for a charity
Posted by Warren Beard on February 10, 2011 at 8:47 pmHi All
I support a local charity and they have asked if I would redesign their logo as it’s very old and looks a bit dated. I don’t make anything from this or any of the things I give them so would appreciate a little help with some design options as it’s not my strong point.
I have attached a pdf which should import in to your software OK as well as a jpeg for a visual.
I will be trying a few designs but any submissions will be helpful.
cheers
Warren

I still like the original, nowt wrong with it, could do with some colour .. sorry , i go away

quote Simon Strom:This one is an extremely rough sketch. Just picked a random font, so could be better. I would have done the stain glass window wider if I did it over. With everything stacked, it seems a bit tall. Colors would need adjusting also. Anyway, just and idea.
Me likey! 😀

I found it hard this one. usually I can do a few but this ones got me stumped.
I’ll submit a few and see how they feel it’s coming along.

Thanks Harry! I have another idea but no time to sketch it up right now. Might have a chance later in the day.

Harry that’s "Ace" the new font from Art & Signfonts.com
I wanted my the shadow of my cross to cover the lettering on the bottom part like a blanket but didn’t know how.

I wouldn’t trouble to look any further, the one Jill has done more than makes the grade. I would only alter it by taking the black cross away completely as I feel it makes it look a little Satanic.

awesome everybody, I really appreciate it and I’m sure they will to and will let you know the feedback I get from them.
cheers
