  • Delivery issue Digiprint not happy

    Just woundering if any one has had the same issue, i placed an order for some stock on a saturday, and paid for 24 hour delivery, which obvoiusly cost more, 🙁 i do understand that the order would not be picked up until monday expecting delivery on a tuesday, only to receive a email saying my order should (should!) be here wedenesday to my maths that is 48 hours plus. when i checked my order it had not even left the country(belgium) today.

    after contacting Digiprint they informed me as i live in a rural area :rofl: near Sheffield LOL ???? it would take longer, by this point i was fuming as the order was checked for 24 hour delivery and paid for 24 hour delivery. has any one else had this issue.

    I feel your pain Tracey, having paid £18 for next day before 10.30 for 3 tubes of glue. Only to arrive at 1pm, which would have cost £9 from Royal Mail.

    But to be honest, I would have thought it was dam near impossible for a next day delivery via Europe ( not getting at you)

    To be fair, each time we have ordered from them we have had a great service too. Having said that we don’t generally order online but over the phone.

    We would like to answer this post as it is obviously damaging our reputation and we feel it is unfair. You placed your order on 14th September which is a Saturday. Your order was processed and shipped out on the following working day on Monday 16th September. As You can see on Fedex web site, they picked up your order from our premises at 4pm. We could hardly do better. Fedex who delivers within 24 hours in most UK locations could not deliver at your premises on 17th September because they consider it to be indeed remote. They delivered the next day.
    We understand every supplier is exposed to customer’s feedback on forum such as uksignboard and we have always respected that. In fact, it is customer’s feedback which has built our reputation and enabled us to become the number one online supplier of parts and accessories for wide format digital printers in Europe. We work very hard to make sure all the orders customers place are shipped on the same day and delivered the next day everywhere in Europe. We are sorry your order wasn’t but we think it is not fair to blame us for it in this case. We have asked Fedex to refund the shipping costs and they were already credited on your account. We hope this shows at least that we care.

    Thanks for your reply regaurding delivery, as all your online service kept saying was it would be wednesday, and can i also point out i did say i ordered on saturday, but did not expect the order to go through until monday. (as on my thread)
    I have received now a refund for the postage thankyou for this, for that all i ask is that when a order is placed if i pay for one day delivery and this is not available.
    Please just say this!!
    This has not put me off ordering but please me more informative.

    You are absolutely right, our system should indicate 48H delivery for the destinations Fedex cannot deliver overnight. We are currently working at adding this functionality online. We checked and UPS does deliver your destination overnight. We hope this helps.
