Default font in flexi?

If you go to preferences you can restore defaults.

Just click the text icon, go to Design Central select the font (arial) that you want as the default font, it will then use that font every time. Ideal when you are designing as you just set the font you are using on the sign & it uses that one each time you type with no need to change it.

Hi Craig, go in to your flexi file and open the ‘Clear Preferences’ icon, click yes to clear all preferences and then open flexi.

You’ll find all the defaults are restored so you’ll have to go into preferences pane and change them if you need to.

This is a good way of clearing any glitches you find with the program.

Hmmm tried it but still no, it changed all the preferences back but that stupid font is still there! i might try uninstalling that font then seeing what it does! 😮 The design central box still dosent let me start the programme in another font but i agree with you Kevin its still a handy tool. Cheers all for trying! 🙂

Can’t help I’m afraid Craig, but think yourself lucky maybe….. my bitstream font navigator once un-installed every font on my system including wiondows ones except one Arabic (I think) font..was great fun for a computer illiterate like myself to get stuff back on my system, entirely by trial and error…

ok this is quite easy i think, open design central and select any font (in your case ariel) leave design central open but then close the page and the programme

when you reopen the programme your selected font will be the default

Spot on!!!! 😀 😀 😀 I knew it was simple! I always close the design central first!! thanks!! :lol1: No more annoying skinny font!! Thats the thing with flexi silly things like that!
