can’t pm ya back dude, thanks for letting me know, i’ve had no wanrings pop up but will run a scan anyways,
might be worth mentioning to anyone who viewd it to check their system ? how serious was it ? i only ask cos my system hasnt picked it up !

dont think it was serious.. but i had Windows Antispyware warning me that it was trying to install.. i hit “no”.. then a get around launched and started installing WinFixer 2006.. was looking like a pie chart in the bottom right hand corner… I killed the task before it finished. I am using Internet Explorer 6

ah, i use mozilla firefox, perhaps thats why i didnt get attacked !

you get attacked with firefox.
biggest clue for me was the irratic-harddrive at that time

just ran spybot cos i realised my norton firewall settings were set to off ! only a couple of bits of spyware, will leave the antivirus to run later, had a couple of mad hard drive moments lately, must secure the wireless too !!!
