    Help……….Emily’s laptop won’t boot up.

occasionally it boots then quickly locks up…………have once got it to boot in safe mode which lasted longer………….just need to get her music and photos off it and onto an external hard drive.

A long shot I know but any suggestions?

    John,

If I were in this situation I would use another laptop to try and find a telephone helpline or online help service for the manufacturer of laptop that is presenting the problem and try and find a solution that way. I’m sure you have already thought of this though.

Not much help but that’s all I can think of.

If you get stuck you could try this you can plug the hard drive from the laptop in to it 😀
