3M is offering a unique way for all manner of vehicles, including cars, trucks and even boats, stand out in the crowd with its new 3M™ Controltac™ Wrap Film Series with Comply version 3 – 1080Cv3. The film comes entirely out of the box in 60-inch wide rolls for immediate application, with no printing or overlaminate required. The film can cover an entire vehicle without seams or can be used for bonnets, roofs, boot lids, bumpers, door panels, racing stripes and exterior mirror covers.

3M™ Controltac™ 1080Cv3 is a 3.5 mil dual cast film which provides just the right amount of rigidity for easy handling with no need for application tape. Featuring a pressure-activated adhesive, the film can be positioned and repositioned quickly and easily until the applicator is content, and then firm pressure can be applied to fix it into place. The possibility of any bubbles appearing during application is virtually eliminated owing to non-visible air-release channels in the adhesive.

The film is for long-term use on standard vehicles (buses, vans and cars), commercial vehicles and fleets (trucks, semi-tractors and trailers), as well as boats intended for personal pleasure (applied above water line only). Available colours include matte white, matte silver, matte black, matte military green, carbon fibre black, carbon fibre anthracite, brushed aluminium, brushed steel, brushed blue steel, brushed titanium and brushed gold.
