cutting probs with an image- help ?
a few times ive tried to cut different images
today ive cut a dragon i downloaded from here
ive now cut 3 times and 3 dif sizes
aprox 40 cm long works fine
65 and 90 cm long it misses the tail well half the tail and some of the details then scores a line through it from front claw through headnow there cant be any thing wrong with the image as it cuts fine smaller
so wat the heck and i doing wrong
the same happened to a celtic footbal club logo still cant do that one over 8 inches
any ideas appreciated

Sounds to me like your software is putting anything past a certain size into panels. Check what setting you have for your cutting software and alter the panel sizes. What software are you using?

Also take a look at what material width you have got set up, this also affects wether your software will automatically put larger images into panels

IT IS IN PANNELS
IT WOULD APEAR IF I CAN STRAIGHTEN THE IMAGE THEN I CAN MAKE IT FIT
BUT ITS PROVEING A PAIN
IVE ATTACHED THE IMAGE HOPEFULLY
ITSA RED BACKGROUND AND WHITE DRAGON I WANT THE WHITE DRAGON NOT THE RED SQUARE
BUT GOES FROM BOTTOM LEFT TO TOP RIGHT DIAGONALLY IF IT WENT STRAIGHT IT WOULDNT BE A PROBLEM LOOKING TO CUT THIS AT A SIZE OF 55CM HIGH BY 180 CM LONG

If you view it as an outline its not a good vector, I have sorted it, but cant post here so will put it in the swap forum

Im trying to understand your problem……..is it that you dont want the red square at all? In which case just ungroup the image and delete the red square leaving you with just the dragon, then size it as you want, if necessary rotate the image to fit your vinyl and away you go! Check the max width of your vinyl and make sure you can fit it on.

cheers peter and jill thanks played a bit more with you said last and think ive done it was trying all morning but was not manageing with ur help ive cracked it i think
the reds gone the image is straight so the panels shouldnt be affected
so should cut it out now cheers off to try it
