  • Cutting Magnetic to make a Stencil

Been asked to cut stencil out of magnetic so that it can be put on skips and roller painted through…..it has two phone numbers so id rather not cut them by hand as it would take an age not to mention be hard on the hands to do….
would anyone know of a manufacturer of these or know of someone who has machinery to undertake such a job?
    Thanks in advance

normally the stencils are thin Steel or aluminium which are held on by strong magnets. Magnetic material itself normally won’t stand up to the solvents in the paint 7 deteriorates quite quickly. Most cnc companies will make them but i use a company who cuts them on a waterjet but don’t have details with me at the moment.

    Hi Cheryl,
I am sure Kevin is correct, but if you still want to try, Graphityp have a cutable magnetic.
