Hi I am looking for a used vinyl printer/cutter to expand my business. I would rather buy via a member so that we keep it in the family and hopefully wont get shafted. Any reccomendations on model or supplier etc? I have about 3K to spend.

    Thanks everyone for looking

Pretty much works like this, the more money you spend on a printer/cutter outfit the cheaper the running costs. In the search box above type in things like PC600, PC60, JV3 or Cadet and you see allsorts of topics about print and cut

However this is a good start

3K wont cover much, maybe the cutter side or invest it in a cadet like this

Thanks for the input. Will keep looking for used but a new cadet would be nice in the summer maybe.

    Hi Robert,

I have been using an Omicron cutter for the past year and want to increase my range of products for sale. I create stickers and logos for cars, motorcycles and scooters for replicar paint jobs. Some of them are continuous tone so obviously cannot be created via cut vinyl. Therefore…. my thoughts turn to printing vinyl. In addition, this will open up many oher avenues for vehicle livery which I am unable to take advantage of presently. I have just taken a lease on a small (600sq ft shop with a 40 foot frontage. This is in a prime retail spot and would enable me I am sure to utilise the flexibility and versatility of a colour printer both on vinyl and on paper for POS for resale to local business etc. I could go on but I can hear you all snoring!!!

    Cheers Peter

no we are not snoring… it’s given us an insight to where you are going with it all.
Best of luck with it all, just a note and not sure on Cadet smells, but on our JV3 printer it has to be either filtered or flumed to the outside, so not good for people passing the shop window unless you have a back room etc
