HI all ,this is my first post on here after reading the forum for a while.
I have bought myself a Creation Pcut 630 Via signwizard, and am using flexsign Pro 7.6.
My question is,when i am using the cutter it is running in its slowest speed but not quite cutting to the edges of letters, most letters will be ok, but some will not is this down to my software settings? if so does anyone know what it is i need to be altering?

    Thanks Phil

do you mean its not clean in say a corner ??
    i would say blade offset
the speed can be set from production manager and on the plotter although I’m not sure on setting for a p cut which has the most amount of posts re setting the thing up and getting it working

I have never really got my Pcut to perfectly finish the letters especially with smaller letters where it is more noticable.

I cut most jobs with the speed set at 40 or 50 and the blade offset set at 0.27mm.

i cut at a speed of 500 even with text @10mm and its clean and weeds easy
i think these are a good start and value for money but for a busy shop the pcut it limited after reading so many set up problems

and its getting boring. like new members on number plates

possible page size mismatch in answer to the post.

i wouldnt mind playing with a pcut to see if they really are bad or not.
    or just new finger trouble

On flexi-sign there should be a button to get the page size from the cutter. If you have been cutting on 500 mm then put 610 in it still thinks you have 500mm in.

Hi all tried adjusting the page size with no benefits, i tried using artcut and that cut perfectly, but i dont like using that software , whenever i switch back to using the flexisign it cuts a scruffy job every time.

Have you tried contacting Scanvec about this problem? There have been quite a lot of these plotters sold so they may well already have an answer.

I would definitely try the blade offset. Mine is set to 0.025, just check your packet which the blade came in.

    blade offset for sure

I had the same problem with my pCut, changed it 2mm (i think) and now it completes all cuts smoothly.

Does the job for me. Although when I finally get my own workshop, I may end up getting a print & cut machine to run along side it.
