Well it’s finally happened (I wondered how long it would take)…

Yesterday I had my first serious enquiry from some wishy washy green hippy sandal wearing Guardian reading liberal type who wanted to know if I used any re-cycled products in my signs. They were seeking a supplier that was "green" and wanted to be kind to the planet. 😮

Get tae f*ck was my response!! 😕

You should have told him that you use vinyl, which is an oil based product. Oil is recycled trees.

    Then double your price.

    I’m afraid you missed a trick. 🙂

Had someone ask me if I use recycled products some time ago.

Told them I’d be more than happy to sell them a recycled (secondhand) sign if they were happy to pay for it. They were not amused.

Remember 3M’s foray in environmental film? The ‘e’ film was a disaster. Cost me a fortune to replace the stuff when the film failed in 6 months. And the stuff that didn’t fail, was a nightmare to remove after being in the sun for 12 months or more. I still have nightmares about that stuff 😥

Tell him that you paint all your signs with food coloring on recycled cardboard, and say that you’re sorry about the rapid rate of fading.
    Love….Jill
