Sign Graphics selects Colorific ink from SelecTech

When Folkestone-based Sign Graphics encountered problems with quality ink supply for its Grenadier, it turned to SelecTech.
SelecTech supplied Sign Graphics with Colorific Elite inks and according to UKSB member George Zerbino, “[SelecTech] got us out of trouble with fantastic before- and after-sales support. I cannot praise them enough.”

Sign Graphics is a family run business established in 1991 and based in Folkestone Kent. It supplies a wide range of high grade signage & graphics products and courtesy of Sign Graphics’ in-house manufacturing, quality is maintained every step of the way – from initial concept to finished product.

As well as selling direct to end-users, Sign Graphics supplies its products to many other sign companies, graphic design agencies & the motorsport trade. Its customers range from local tradesman to Formula One teams, from local and regional councils to TV production studios and from racing circuits to blue chip companies.
Until recently, Sign Graphics produced much of its output on a Uniform Grenadier. George Zerbino, Owner of Sign Graphics, explains, “We were purchasing inks for our Grenadier from B&P Light Brigade but the company went bust and we were left without an ink supplier for a time.”

Shortly afterwards, B&P Graphic Supplies was established by the former Directors of B&P Light Brigade. George adds, “When B&P restarted, they offered me a new ink for the Grenadier but it was terrible! It was completely different to the inks they had previously supplied me with.”
At this point, Sign Graphics made contact with SelecTech – a specialist supplier of ink, media and accessories to the professional large format sign and display print market. SelecTech recommended that Sign Graphics switch to Colorific Elite ink for the Grenadier. According to George Zerbino, “The transition to Colorific ink was very easy. SelecTech sent out an engineer who – as well as swapping inks – managed to resolve the ink colour differences I was experiencing as a result of the previous, inferior inks. Once these issues were resolved, the printer was restored to full functionality – it worked the way it had when I was using the original Activasol Grenadier inks.”

On the relationship with SelecTech, George comments,
“They were really great and got me out of trouble with fantastic before- and after-sales support. I cannot praise them enough.”

With regards to the Colorific ink range, he adds,
“We have had no issues with the ink – not even when we again switched from Colorific Elite to Colorific Bio. We literally poured the new ink in and carried on printing. I would definitely recommend Colorific inks and have done so on many occasions.”
