Contact RH as they can build them for the machines they sell etc..
They might be able top help you out.

Building them yourself isnt that hard as long as you have the machine (specromiter iirc) and software for it..

I used to do it using Xrite dp20 (or something like that !)

Generally speaking tho, you can get the correct profile from the manufacturer of the material you are using and then just tweek it if you require.

thanks for the reply.

The machine is an import and the profiles that are available from the manufacturer for Photoprint are for generic Chinese media……..red and black are fine on Oracle vinyl but blues and yellows are not.

The manufacturers recommended rip Maintop is fine bit I would prefer to use Photoprint/Flexisign as that is what I am used to.

A friend has a spectrometer so think I may have a go myself as the .icc colour profile making software is already there in Photoprint.

Have a play..

I found that once you get your CMYK values for ink tolerance, the rest is fairly straight forward.

A company i used to deal with when profiling was Printmax, however its been several years since talking to them 🙁

yes the ink limits are at 100%……..way too high, I have printed the charts and around 65% looks to be correct.

iirc you should be able to do it then just using someone elses machine to read the chart.

From memory (its not always that good granted lol) you need to once everything is set, scan in each nline of squares that have been printed.. something like 32 lines…

Borrowed a spectrocam tonight….and it is in the list of supported spectrometers…looks like I have a bit to learn……need to get a USB to serial converter first as my laptop does not have a serial port.
