sorry to hear it John, if it makes you any happier, I think they are the same here.

Like most government departments dealing with children, the father is always the bad guy.

The latest ‘scam’ here is that lawyers are advising women who want to keep custody of the children, to claim their husbands sexually abused the kids. The courts automatically prohibit the fathers contact until he can prove otherwise. There is no onus on the women to prove her claim.

A friend of mine who worships his kids had his wife make the claim against him, now his ex has moved halfway across australia with the kids, with the courts blessing.

My friend is guttered as he is crippled with child support and is unable to get a good lawyer to fight it as he has no money left.

We have seen some of the stunts that justice4fathers have done over there, and you have to feel there is more to it than the public are told.

It is a wicked world we live in, and made worse by this sort of thing. How on earth anyone could live with themselves after that sort of lie, I don’t know.

It’s shocking the views that they have in the CSA

When I split with my ex partner they were telling me that I had pay for my kids for leaving them, I told them that I left my ex partner and not the kids lol

We applied to the csa for payments from the absent father when the youngest ( of 3) was 9 years old, they new where he was and that he had a good job and made almost no attempt to contact him. Needless to say that the youngest is now 23 and we never receveived a penny. The whole department is a complete waste of time they seem to hound those that are willing to pay and leave the rest alone!

exactly what martin said above,

the csa were set up to track down and force payment fom wayward parents or those who were not obeying the court orders,

but that was too difficult so they just screw the parents that stay around for their kids,

they’ve been a nighmare to deal with over the years since my divorce, for a year or so my oldets lived with me, and the rest of the time i’ve always had them from thurs to tues on alternate weekends, not to mention at a moments notice when the ex flits off to some sunny resort with her new bloke,

it worked out that last year i had them for 181 days, practically half the year,
yet despite having ‘shared care’ status, they still want about £50 a week, i’ve told them over and over, that i pay for whatever my kids need (£200 this month on clothes, shoes, school and sports kit etc), and i am happy to do so when i have the cash spare, what i wil not do is fund the gov’t screwed up system that supposedly supports my ex wife… who earns more than i do with all her pt time cash jobs !….

no doubt i’ll have it all to come again when they suss out i’m now self employed ! oh well, see em in court i guess, will pay for my kids and what they need when i have them, aint paying for the gov’t or the ex !

my ex’s new bloke has his two kids from a previous, his mrs just got up and walked out 2yrs ago, never a word since, now he’s just had a solicitors leter claiming she wants them back, and that he should go with it to avoid a lengthy court case which he’ll lose, where’s the justice ?
