I saw one of these machines for sale quite cheap and i was wondering if they are any good. It wouldnt be used for anything exhaustive. Mainly small (200mmx40mm) stickers.

    Is it worth a purchase?

    TIA

where’s that paul meadows ? he uses one quite successfully, i think it comes quite well reccomended for a cutter of it’s size, i was considering one for my lad who’s always trying to cut stuff on the bigger machine, that way i could have him earning while he’s learning ! errr… like me !

    Took it from the box…read a bit……and produced !
Can;t say more than that..great Toy and ideal for learning.
Not Man enough for most things but i’m sure you could cover it;s costs =fairly quickly.
Make sure you don;t do what i did…..cut to deep and bugger the cutting strip…ah well should have read more of the instructions 🙂

I’ve got a craft robo and can tell you that it’s great for cutting small detailed letters, it also cuts flock material for t shirts without having to buy a special blade. I have’nt used it for stickers but I’m sure it would be fine.

they are only a few hundred quid brand new, yes i would say they are more than worth their money, as long as used for what they are intended. 😀

I was’nt trying to make a sale, I thought if Gav lived close enough he may want to see it working before he bought one from elsewhere that is why I gave my email address.

    Robert

I’d like to take you up on the offer of seeing your craft robo in action. I have been toying with the idea of getting one, mainly for small decals and signs that are a pain to weed with cut vinyl.

    I am in Clydebank.

    Thanks

hi Ive got one and it can kiss cut a perfect circle down to 10mm which is excellent could perhaps go smaller but I dont need it to. Anything bigger is done with ease and reasonably quick

Sorry Andrew I’ve only cut flock for T shirts so I don’t have much to show.

Right i took the plunge and got meeself one of these. Quite a nifty little machine. At the moment i am just looking for something to get me into the swing of things and this seems to fit the bill.

Now all i need to do is work out how to use Illustrator and Corel. 🙂
